The patented Cow Dung Mulching Technology is an eco-friendly and sustainable dust suppression solution developed using natural cow dung as the primary binding medium. In this system, processed cow dung is mixed with water to form a uniform slurry, which is stored in an HDPE-lined pressure tank. Controlled air compression is introduced into the tank, while continuous agitation ensures homogeneity of the slurry and gradual build-up of internal pressure.

The system is equipped with a state-of-the-art pressure regulation and safety relief mechanism to ensure controlled and safe operation. Upon release, the pressurised slurry is ejected through a specially designed outlet, enabling tangential spraying to distances of up to 40 metres. This allows effective coverage of large and difficult-to-access surfaces.

Once applied, the slurry forms a thick, uniform layer over exposed soil or material surfaces. On drying and hardening, this layer acts as a natural crust, effectively suppressing loose fugitive dust emissions. In addition to dust control, the organic nature of cow dung enriches the surface layer, promoting moisture retention and supporting vegetation growth, thereby offering long-term environmental and ecological benefits alongside regulatory dust mitigation.
